WINTER PISTOL LEAGUE
The winter pistol league consists of two different sessions. The fall session begins in November and runs through early February. The spring session starts immediately following the fall league in February and runs up to the middle of April. Every Wednesday from 3 to 8 pm sixty to seventy pistol shooters square off to prove the marksmanship skills with both rim fire and center fire hand guns. There are two different shooting categories. One is for guns with iron sights and the other one is for guns with red dot sights. Four divisions in each category allow shooters to compete with others of the same skill levels. There are both individual and team competitions at all four levels. A favorite winter activity and a great way to improve your marksmanship skills!!!
WOMEN’S SHOOT
The Club periodically offers a 6 week course for women in basic gun handling and marksmanship. We work with the gals in small groups to develop and sharpen their tactical handgun skills. The only cost is a $2 range fee for each class.
We also offer a Ladies Day at the outdoor range on the 3rd Sunday of each month year round (weather permitting) where we put those skills to the test in real-life scenarios. There is no charge for Ladies Day.
LADIES JUST 4 FUN SHOOTERS
Shooting on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month are the Shooting 4 Fun Lady Shooters. Their goal is to always shoot for fun, improvement, and staying familiar with their handguns; keeping it a fun, safe, non-competitive event.
