CLUB MEETINGS
One of the things which has made this club so very successful is the strong leadership and support of dedicated club members. Club meetings are held the last Tuesday of each month (except December) at the indoor range. Club members are encouraged to attend meetings and play a role in helping to set the direction of the club.
HUNTER SIGHT-IN
Every year prior to the opening day of each elk season the club has a hunter sight-in at the outdoor range. The purpose is to provide elk and deer hunters an opportunity to get their guns sighted in before the hunt begins.
CORTEZ GUN SHOW
Every August the club invites all members to the picnic pavilion at the outdoor range for an old fashion country cookout. It is a traditional event that everyone looks forward to each year. Another event which is fast becoming a club tradition is our Annual Club Dinner. Held in March at the Elks Club, it is a format for the introduction of newly elected club officers, announcing the winners of the fall pistol league and drawing for great door prizes!
SOCIAL EVENTS
CLUB NEWSLETTER
All club members receive a bimonthly newsletter which keeps them informed of club activities. It includes a monthly calendar of various shoots, information on club activities and a want-ad section for members wanting to buy or sell guns and or gun related items.
CLUB ELECTION
The club election is held the last Tuesday of every February. A mail in ballot is sent to all club members in January, giving everyone an opportunity to help select club officers for each upcoming year
